Forming Minds, Transforming Lives
Beacon School was established in 2005 with only 15 children, and has now grown to over 200 pupils. Our vision is to establish Beacon School as a model of Christian education that focuses not only on academic excellence but also character development. The tradition of rote-learning and memorisation can no longer meet the needs of a rapidly changing and technological world. Beacon School aims to cultivate people of integrity who can think creatively to solve the problems society faces, and to contribute and have influence on an international level.
True to its name, Beacon School seeks to act as a ‘beacon’ of hope, direction and leadership. We are preparing tomorrow’s leaders today who will influence Ghana and the international community.
Our motto ‘forming minds, transforming lives’ speaks of the core value of the school. As we help to form the children’s minds through a creative process of teaching and in-depth Christian formation, we have begun to see God transform their lives.
