Beacon School offers the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) at the end of Junior High. We are also a Cambridge Associate School, offering the Cambridge Checkpoint exam and the  International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) at the Senior High level, with boarding facilities.

Currently, classes start from Nursery to Year 10 / Junior High 3.

Maximum class size is 25 pupils. In lower classes the class teacher is helped by a full-time teaching assistant.

Class placement is dependent on a child’s age as at August 31st, but not on academic ability. Within the class, differing levels of assessment provide differentiated learning.

Exception to this set up is the Play Group class, which is designed to serve our parents who have children under 3 years old who they would like to enroll. This class starts at 2 years 6 months for girls, and 2 years 8 months for boys, and the child must know someone in the school already: a sibling or a close relation. It must be understood that such children are not starting Nursery, but are in a play group, and will only start Nursery when they’ve turned 3 at the end of August of that year!
