🏅 Beacon Shines Bright in 2025 Sports Competitions! 🏅

At Beacon School, excellence goes beyond the classroom—and our students have once again proven it on the field, the track, and even in the arts arena! From local games to inter-school festivals, Beacon athletes have demonstrated talent, perseverance, and undeniable school spirit.

🏆 Ghana International Schools Sports Festival (GISF)

Season One Highlights
Beacon made a spirited debut at the first-ever GISF. Although both our basketball teams didn’t progress past the qualification zone due to tight training schedules, their passion and teamwork were evident. Our girls' football team fought bravely to the quarter-finals, losing narrowly on penalties. The athletics team qualified with good times but missed medals due to fierce competition.

Notably, Nana Sarpomaa Addae secured 2ndRunner-Up in the Arts Competition, and Evangelina Hanson sprinted her way to a3rd place finish in the Girls 100m Final—a proud moment for Beacon!

Season Two Success
With renewed focus and resilience, Beacon bounced back stronger in Season Two. The girls' football team soared to the semi-finals and clinched 3rd place, earning each team member a medal.
Kirsty Attandoh dazzled the crowd and judges alike, emerging as Best Female Player of the Tournament, taking home prizes including a microwave, a medal, and sponsorship gifts. Two of our girls even vied for the coveted Goal Queen title.

In athletics, the girls' 4×100m relay team finished 3rd, leaving spectators in awe with their speed and coordination.

Meanwhile, the boys’ football team faced another tough run, but our boys’ athletics team brought home glory!

Each athlete received medals, certificates, and sponsored prizes, making us immensely proud!

🏃‍♂️Akuapim South Private Schools Sports Festival

Held on 25th and 26th February 2025,this exciting festival brought together private schools from across the Akuapim South Municipality—and Beacon made a big statement!

Our Preschoolers were nothing short of phenomenal, participating in fun-filled events like the lime and spoon race, threading a needle, sack races, and more. Their joyful spirit and coordination earned them the title of the “All-Time Best” of the festival!

In the 50m dash, young Jeslyn Mensah sprinted to a silver medal, finishing 2nd in the finals.

In football, the girls' team reached the semi-finals, while the boys gave their all before bowing out at the knockout stage.

From the preschoolers to secondary athletes, Beacon continues to rise! These achievements reflect not only our students’ abilities but also the discipline, sportsmanship, and commitment to holistic education that defines Beacon School.
